History: Sid's history isn't too interesting. His parents didn't die in a freak cooking accident when he was little, he wasn't used in some top-secret government experiment, he isn't secretly a serial killer who was punished by being trapped in the body of a nine-year-old for the rest of their life and so is forced to attend primary school and go to children's football practice while plotting revenge on the group who put him in the state he's in. Nope, Sid's just an ordinary nine-year-old kid who lives with his mum, dad and annoying older sister in a little house in a non-descript town.
Personality: Like most nine-year-old boys, Sid is incredibly inquisitive, you may even say annoyingly so. There's always a question about something, and most of the time the question is far from relevant. Say you'd just told him about how the Greeks used the Trojan Horse to enter the city of Troy, you'd gone through all the ins and outs of the Trojan war, who's who, what would have happened, etc. Sid would probably ask you something like, "But what if the horse was on fire?" or "What if the city was filled with giant space mutants from millions of light-years away riding dinosaurs!?". Think something along the lines of Ben from Outnumbered.

Personality: Technically Jools is alive, but doesn't really have much personality. He's fairly lazy and agreeable, although sometimes he will mishear what Sid's asking him to turn into and end up as something else entirely.
Special Abilities: As well as keeping Sid's head warm, Jools has the amazing ability to turn into just about anything, so long as it isn't organic. Jools can be just about anything from a handy boomerang to a glider.
